FAQ's
What makes Crown Saffron different from other brands?
Crown Saffron is single-origin, hand-harvested, and sourced exclusively from our own farm an elevated foothills of the Alborz Mountain region of Iran. This ensures unmatched purity, quality, and traceability.
What is the best way to store saffron?
To preserve its flavor and aroma, store saffron in an airtight container away from light, heat, and moisture. A cool, dry place like a pantry or fridge works best.
How much saffron should I use in my recipes?
Although, it varies based on your particular recipe and how many people you are cooking for. For most recipes, a pinch (5-10 strands) is sufficient. Soak the strands in warm water for a few minutes to release their color and flavor before adding them to your dish.
How long does saffron last?
When stored properly, saffron can retain its quality for up to 2-3 years. Over time, its aroma and flavor may slightly diminish. That's why we only sell our annual harvest!
