How to make saffron tea
Ingredients:
- 2 cups water
- Pinch of saffron (don’t be shy with it)
- 1 teaspoon honey (optional)
- 1 small cinnamon stick
- 1 cardamom clove (optional)
Instructions:
- Heat the water in a pot until it begins to simmer.
- Crush the saffron in a mortar and pestle.
- Add the saffron and let them steep for 5–7 minutes until the water turns a rich golden color.
- For added flavor, include a cinnamon stick or a pinch of cardamom while steeping.
- Remove from heat, strain the cardamom and cinnamon, and stir in honey if desired.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
