How to make saffron tea

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups water
  • Pinch of saffron (don’t be shy with it)
  • 1 teaspoon honey (optional)
  • 1 small cinnamon stick
  • 1 cardamom clove (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Heat the water in a pot until it begins to simmer.
  2. Crush the saffron in a mortar and pestle.
  3. Add the saffron and let them steep for 5–7 minutes until the water turns a rich golden color.
  4. For added flavor, include a cinnamon stick or a pinch of cardamom while steeping.
  5. Remove from heat, strain the cardamom and cinnamon, and stir in honey if desired.
  6. Serve hot and enjoy!
